This section contains detailed lesson plans for each weekly session of the Introduction to Marine Industry course. Each lesson includes focused activities designed to reinforce key learning objectives and integrate with the overall business plan development.
Lesson Structure
Each lesson plan includes: - Key Learning Objective: The primary skill or concept being developed - Lesson Overview: Brief description of the session's focus - Main Activities: 3-4 hours of instruction and hands-on work - Integration Activity: How the lesson connects to the "Full Throttle Marine" business plan - Deliverables: Clear outputs from the session
Course Sections
The course is organized into six technical sections plus a final business development phase:
- Intro to Business/Entrepreneurship (Weeks 1-3)
- Basic Engine Servicing (Weeks 4-6)
- Basic Marine Electronics (Weeks 7-9)
- Propeller Sizing and Tuning (Weeks 10-12)
- Welding (Weeks 13-15)
